The Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX) basketball crushed the host Burton Panthers (Burton, TX), 92-49 in Friday's league test.

The Yeguas (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Iola (Iola, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region IV District 26 test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Iola was trounced by Mumford (Mumford, TX), 66-24, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Normangee for a 2A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, January 16. Burton will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 52-32 league win over Snook (Snook, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 15-9.
