The West Side Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Calico Rock Pirates to 44 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shirley for a 1A Region 2 contest on Thursday, January 18. West Side will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 74-57 league win over Concord (Concord, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-6.
The Pirates (2-20) will now prepare for their contest against Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Panthers come into the 1A Region 2 contest with a 7-16 record.
