The Eagles now possess a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lindale for a 4A Region II District 16 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Canton will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-44 league loss to Athens (Athens, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-10.

The Vandals (8-18) will now prepare for their battle against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX). The Knights come into the 4A Region II District 16 battle with a 3-15 record. In their last battle, Cumberland Academy dropped by Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX), 63-55, in a league battle.
