The Carolina Friends Quakers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls to 38 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Quakers now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cresset Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Carolina Friends will meet a Eagles team coming off a 68-19 league loss to Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-9.
The Bulls (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Vipers enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Vance County ran past J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC), 58-47, in a league contest.
