The LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 95-43 in Friday's league test.
The Flyers (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region III District 19 test with a 4-8 record.
The Wildcats now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Martins Mill for a 2A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, January 16. Cayuga will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 49-23 league win over Frankston (Frankston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-4.
