The Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX), 64-29 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Devils (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Tigers go into the 2A Region II District 14 test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Whitewright walloped Bland (Merit, TX), 35-32, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Wolfe City for a 2A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, January 16. Trenton will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 43-36 league loss to Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 5-18.
