Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Centennial Cougars (Franklin, TN) and the host Summit Spartans (Spring Hill, TN), saw Centennial's basketball squad overcome Summit by a tally of 58-49.

With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Nolensville (Nolensville, TN) to confront the Knights in a 4A District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Nolensville won 56-51 in their recent league challenge against Brentwood (Brentwood, TN)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Franklin Admirals (Franklin, TN) in a 4A District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Summit will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Admirals come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 73-65 league win over Independence (Thompson's Station, TN).
