The Central Holmes Christian Trojans basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Humphreys Academy Rebels to 38 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Creek for a MAIS 3A District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Central Holmes Christian will battle a Warriors team coming off a 36-32 non-league loss to Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
The Rebels (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Holmes Christian (Lexington, MS). The Trojans come into the MAIS 3A District 2 contest with a 13-3 record.
