The Central Raiders basketball team (Burden, KS), was nudged 65-62 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS)
The Wildcats now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Argonia for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16. Oxford will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 39-38 non-league win over Udall (Udall, KS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-6.
The Raiders (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Haven (South Haven, KS). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, South Haven edged Flinthills (Rosalia, KS), 51-35, in a non-league battle.
