The Christian Family Academy Fire basketball team (Hickory, NC), was routed 83-49 in Friday's league battle with the host Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC)

The Warriors now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haywood Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont battle on Monday, January 15. Veritas Christian Academy will battle a Red Wolves team coming off a 46-25 league loss to The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC). The Red Wolves record now stands at 1-8.

The Fire (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Challenger (Hickory, NC). The Firebirds come into the Western Piedmont battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Challenger was routed by Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC), 52-43, in a league battle.
