The Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 58-49 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Colonels go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record.
The Wildcats now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Paint Branch for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Walter Johnson will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 58-53 non-league win over Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 9-2.
