Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), saw Point Loma's basketball squad knock off Clairemont by a count of 73-62.

With the victory, Point Loma upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Crawford (San Diego, CA) to play the Colts in a Central challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Crawford won 51-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Kearny (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Chieftains play the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Clairemont will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 72-46 league loss to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA).
