The Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) basketball crushed the host Coastal Christian Conquerors (Pismo Beach, CA), 65-38 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Coast Union (Cambria, CA). The Broncos go into the Coast Valley test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Coast Union walloped Shandon (Shandon, CA), 67-24, in a league test.

The Conquerors now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to San Luis Obispo Classical Academy for a Coast Valley test on Tuesday, January 16. Coastal Christian will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 55-42 non-league win over Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 10-13.
