Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils (Fork Union, VA), 67-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Collegiate upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Cougars host Rise Academy (Richmond, VA) to play the Guardians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Guardians go into the bout with a record of 7-8.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets (Front Royal, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Fork Union Military Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 74-22 league win over Quantico (Quantico, VA).
