Texas High School Basketball - Creekview ripped by Newman Smith

The Newman Smith Trojans basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Creekview Mustangs to 39 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frisco for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Wednesday, January 17. Newman Smith will battle a Raccoons team coming off a 68-55 league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Raccoons record now stands at 11-10.
The Mustangs (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Lone Star triumphed over Turner (Carrollton, TX), 74-21, in a league contest.
