Florida High School Basketball - Nature Coast Tech crushes Crystal River

January 12, 2024: Brooksville, FL 34604

Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL), 65-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Nature Coast Tech upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Sharks travel to Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL) to play the Hornets in a 4A District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Weeki Wachee lost 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against Springstead (Spring Hill, FL)

Next up, the Pirates play the Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Crystal River will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 65-52 non-league loss to Hernando (Brooksville, FL).
