The Galena Grizzlies basketball team (Reno, NV), was overwhelmed 66-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV)

The Mustangs now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spanish Springs for a 4A Northern battle on Tuesday, January 16. Damonte Ranch will battle a Cougars team coming off a 65-42 league win over Reed (Sparks, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 8-9.

The Grizzlies (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Reno (Reno, NV). The Huskies come into the 4A Northern battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Reno trounced McQueen (Reno, NV), 54-41, in a league battle.
