Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) and the visiting DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN), saw Upperman's basketball squad overcome DeKalb County by a tally of 58-46.

With the victory, Upperman improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Bees host Franklin Classical School (Franklin, TN) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Franklin Classical School won 56-54 in their recent league challenge against Franklin Christian Academy (Franklin, TN)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN) in a 3A District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. DeKalb County will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 65-58 league loss to Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN).
