Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA), 55-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dunham upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Tigers host Southwood (Shreveport, LA) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 14. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Southwood won 67-42 in their recent league bout against Byrd (Shreveport, LA)

Next up, the Cubs play the East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. University Lab will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 47-33 league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA).
