Tennessee High School Basketball - South Gibson can't hold off Dyer County

The Dyer County Choctaws basketball team scored 78 points and held the host South Gibson Hornets to 76 in the Choctaws league triumph on Friday.
The Choctaws now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host McNairy Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Dyer County will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 55-47 non-league win over Hardin County (Savannah, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-6.
The Hornets (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gibson County (Dyer, TN). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record.
