The East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Pine City Dragons (Pine City, MN), 89-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Ogilvie walloped Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN), 62-54, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Pine City will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 65-46 non-league loss to Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 1-12.
