Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting East Hall Vikings (Gainesville, GA), saw North Hall's basketball squad wallop East Hall by a count of 81-60.

With the victory, North Hall upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Madison County (Danielsville, GA) to play the Red Raiders in a AAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Madison County lost 71-50 in their recent league bout against Seckinger (Buford, GA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 bout, on Monday, January 15. East Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 7-8 record after their 68-57 non-league loss to Union Grove (McDonough, GA).
