California High School Basketball - Palmdale can't hold off Eastside

January 12, 2024: Palmdale, CA 93550

The Eastside Lions basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Palmdale Falcons to 53 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Paula for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. Eastside will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 73-39 league win over Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-5.

Next up, the Falcons play the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars (Palmdale, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Palmdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 57-50 non-league win over Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA).
