The Garfield Boilermakers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Elmwood Park Crusaders to 29 in the Boilermakers league victory on Friday.

The Boilermakers now sport a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Milford for a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. Garfield will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 60-50 league win over Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-9.

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Elmwood Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 52-43 league loss to Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ).
