Episcopal Wildcats (Little Rock, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Harding Academy Wildcats (Searcy, AR), 61-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Episcopal upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Riverview (Searcy, AR) to play the Raiders in a 3A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 14-1. Riverview won 69-52 in their recent league bout against Central (West Helena, AR)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pangburn Tigers (Pangburn, AR) in a 3A Region 6 bout, on Monday, January 15. Harding Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 48-36 league loss to Lisa Academy North (Sherwood, AR).
