The Wynne Yellowjackets basketball team (Wynne, AR), was overwhelmed 85-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR)

The Mustangs now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blytheville for a 4A Region 3 battle on Saturday, January 13. Forrest City will confront a Chickasaws team coming off a 57-34 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR). The Chickasaws record now stands at 6-10.

The Yellowjackets (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Bearcats come into the 4A Region 3 battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Brookland trounced Trumann (Trumann, AR), 66-46, in a league battle.
