The Fort Frye Cadets basketball team (Beverly, OH), was toppled 58-39 in Friday's league battle with the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV)

The Big Blacks now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gallia Academy for a Ohio Valley battle on Tuesday, January 16. Point Pleasant will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-32 non-league win over Athens (The Plains, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-9.

The Cadets (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Morgan (McConnelsville, OH). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Morgan was toppled by Coshocton (Coshocton, OH), 63-56, in a league battle.
