Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX), 64-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Seminole upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Indians host Greenwood (Midland, TX) to play the Rangers in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 14-10. Greenwood won 56-43 in their recent league bout against Andrews (Andrews, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Fort Stockton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Loboes go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 91-32 league win over Pecos (Pecos, TX).
