Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), 74-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Gardena upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Panthers host Banning (Wilmington, CA) to clash with the Pilots in a Marine bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Pilots go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Banning lost 60-28 in their recent league bout against Narbonne (Harbor City, CA)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) in a Marine bout, on Wednesday, January 17. San Pedro will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 80-42 non-league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA).
