The Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys (Grandfalls, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting New Way Christian Academy Eagles (Odessa, TX), 49-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cowboys (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Sanderson (Sanderson, TX). The Eagles go into the 1A Region II District 10 test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Sanderson went down by Rankin (Rankin, TX), 86-30, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-9 record.
