Grenada Chargers (Grenada, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), 63-47 in a league bout.
With the win, Grenada upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Chargers travel to Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS) to clash with the Conquistadors in a 6A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Conquistadors go into the bout with a record of 18-5.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS) in a 6A Region 1 bout, on Friday, January 19. South Panola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
