Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA), 68-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Helix upgrades its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to play the Norsemen in a Grossmont - Hills bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Norsemen come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Valhalla won 57-45 in their recent non-league bout against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA)

Next up, the Wolf Pack play the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont - Hills bout, on Tuesday, January 16. West Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record.
