The High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ), 42-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ). The Chiefs go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Hopatcong was beaten by Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ), 60-40, in a non-league test.

The Devils now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Kittatinny Regional for a Northwest Jersey - Colonial test on Tuesday, January 16. Morris County Tech will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 69-40 non-league loss to High Point (Sussex, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
