Alabama High School Basketball - Northside Methodist Academy ripped by Houston Academy

The Houston Academy Raiders basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Northside Methodist Academy Knights to 42 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Christian for a 3A Area 3 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Houston Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 54-37 non-league win over Saint James (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-4.

The Knights (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ashford (Ashford, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the 3A Area 3 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Ashford was routed by Providence Christian (Dothan, AL), 71-54, in a league contest.
