Jackson Timberwolves (Mill Creek, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA), 56-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jackson upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA) to play the Islanders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Islanders come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Mercer Island lost 60-50 in their recent league bout against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mariner Marauders (Everett, WA) in a 4A Wesco bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Lake Stevens will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Marauders come into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 75-55 league loss to Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA).
