Texas High School Basketball - San Saba topped by Johnson City

The Johnson City Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host San Saba Armadillos to 50 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center Point for a 2A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Johnson City will battle a Pirates team coming off a 66-26 league loss to Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-10.

The Armadillos (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against Center Point (Center Point, TX). The Pirates come into the 2A Region IV District 29 contest with a 2-10 record.
