Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kiowa County Mavericks (Greensburg, KS) and the visiting Kinsley Coyotes (Kinsley, KS), saw Kiowa County's basketball squad wallop Kinsley by a tally of 65-44.

With the victory, Kiowa County improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Satanta (Satanta, KS) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Coyotes play the Cunningham Wildcats (Cunningham, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Kinsley will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
