In Friday's league match, the host Lake Mead Academy Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 80-53 triumph over the Laughlin Cougars.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 13. Lake Mead Academy will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Blue Knights enter the match with a 11-4 record after their 82-17 league win over American Heritage Academy (Henderson, NV).
