Lake Quinault Elks (Amanda Park, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wishkah Valley Loggers (Aberdeen, WA), 60-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lake Quinault upgrades its record to 1-11 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Clallam Bay (Clallam Bay, WA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Clallam Bay lost 70-35 in their recent league bout against Neah Bay (Neah Bay, WA)

Next up, the Loggers play the Mary M. Knight Owls (Elma, WA) in a 1B Coastal bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Wishkah Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 66-21 league loss to Taholah (Taholah, WA).
