The Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT) basketball nipped the host Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT), 65-61 in Friday's league test.
The Highlanders (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans go into the Berkshire test with a 5-4 record.
The Cowboys now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Shepaug Valley for a Berkshire test on Tuesday, January 16.
