Utah High School Basketball - Tintic overwhelmed by Manila

The Manila Mustangs basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Tintic Miners to 55 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tabiona for a 1A Region 22 contest on Saturday, January 13. Manila will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-50 league win over Rich (Randolph, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 10-1.

The Miners (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rich (Randolph, UT). The Rebels come into the 1A Region 22 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Rich was routed by Tabiona (Tabiona, UT), 64-50, in a league contest.
