In Friday's league outing, the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) basketball squad edged the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), by a count of 57-56.
The Rams (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Chopticon held off Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 59-45, in a league outing.
