The Mechanicsburg Wildcats basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Milton Hershey Spartans to 45 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Cliff for a Mid-Penn - Keystone contest on Wednesday, January 17. Mechanicsburg will meet a Colts team coming off a 56-46 league loss to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA). The Colts record now stands at 5-7.

The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Harrisburg was routed by Carlisle (Carlisle, PA), 69-56, in a league contest.
