In Friday's league outing, the Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR), by a margin of 65-57.
The Yellowjackets (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region 2 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Salem defeated Hoxie (Hoxie, AR), 72-62, in a league outing.
The Bearkatz now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tuckerman for a 3A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, January 16. Melbourne will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 68-66 non-league win over Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-9.
