The Park Ridge Owls basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Midland Park Panthers to 47 in the Owls non-league victory on Friday.
The Owls now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hasbrouck Heights for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Park Ridge will battle a Aviators team coming off a 45-44 league win over Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Aviators record now stands at 6-5.
The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wallington (Wallington, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Wallington edged Harrison (Harrison, NJ), 42-35, in a non-league contest.
