Texas High School Basketball - Midway ripped by Slidell

The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Midway Falcons to 22 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gold-Burg for a 1A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Slidell will battle a Bears team coming off a 64-55 league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, TX). The Bears record now stands at 7-17.

The Falcons (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX). The Bears enter the 1A Region III District 22 contest with a 7-17 record.
