Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) and the host St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), saw Minnetonka's basketball squad overcome St. Michael-Albertville by a tally of 75-66.

With the victory, Minnetonka improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Skippers travel to Brainerd (Brainerd, MN) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Brainerd lost 74-65 in their recent non-league contest against Rocori (Cold Spring, MN)

The Knights (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison come into the AAAA Section 8 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Buffalo was defeated by Wayzata (Plymouth, MN), 83-54, in a non-league contest.
