In Friday's league outing, the Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), by a margin of 75-34.

The Warriors (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Beaver was trounced by Ambridge (Ambridge, PA), 60-56, in a league outing.
