Texas High School Basketball - Pecos ripped by Monahans

The Monahans Loboes basketball team scored 91 points and held the visiting Pecos Eagles to 32 in the Loboes league triumph on Friday.

The Loboes now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Stockton for a 4A Region I District 3 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Monahans will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-39 league loss to Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-16.

The Eagles (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Mustangs enter the 4A Region I District 3 contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Andrews was routed by Greenwood (Midland, TX), 56-43, in a league contest.
