The Mounds View Mustangs basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Woodbury Royals to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cretin-Derham Hall for a AAAA Section 4 game on Tuesday, January 16. Mounds View will face a Raiders team coming off a 73-56 league win over White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 9-2.

With the defeat, Woodbury moves to 7-5 on the year. The Royals travel to Duluth East (Duluth, MN) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Saturday, January 13. The Greyhounds enter the game with a record of 2-8. Duluth East lost 69-58 in their recent non-league game against St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN)
